Yes! We have homes at Fairmeadows Village that are ground-floor and wheelchair accessible, making them ideal for residents who prefer a barrier-free living environment. Our units also have zero-entry showers for added convenience.

WHAT THEY OFFER:  Door-to-door, wheelchair-accessible public transit and “Bus Plus” service for eligible riders who cannot use standard buses.

HOW TO ACCESS:  Visit ridedart.com or call the DART / Paratransit line. Reservations typically must be made in advance (often 24 hours).


SERVICE:  Compassionate Care Transportation

WHAT THEY OFFER:  Non-emergency medical transport (NEMT) — door-to-door service with assistance in getting in/out, waiting during appointments.

HOW TO ACCESS:  Call or book via their website serving the Des Moines / metro area.


SERVICE: Joy Ride Transport
